[ARSENAL] Jet Icarus’ Weapons.
Jet Icarus was armed with eight unique weapons. By pushing a corresponding button on the control panel, a Jetman could instantly summon any of the items.
The most commonly used was the Birdonic Sabre (バードニックセイバー; Baadonikku seibaa). Jet Icarus could destroy monsters with this sword. On several occasions, the sabre’s blade was broken.
The Icarus Crusher (イカロスクラッシャー; Ikarosu kurasshaa) was a mace ball attached to a long chain. In episode 20, Jet Icarus killed Vacuum Cleaner Jigen with the Crusher. Tranza’s robot Veronica sliced the mace ball in half in episode 44.
The Jet Daggers (ジェットダガー; Jetto dagaa) doubled as throwing knives.
The Jet Lancer (ジェットランサー; Jetto lansaa) was a curved blade attached to a long pole. Jet Icarus tossed monsters around with this lance.
When Black Condor initiated the Shot Puncher (ショットパンチャー; Shotto panchaa), one of Jet Icarus’ fists was fired like a projectile.
The Icarus Axe (イカロスアックス; Ikarosu akkusu) was a hatchet good for slicing and close range attacks.
Jet Swallow’s wings converted to the Wing Shield (ウィングシールド; Uingu shiirudo). The Icarus Magna (イカロスマグナ; Ikarosu maguna) was a large war hammer.

[BATTLE] Jetman vs. Veronica & Tranza.
Raita, Ako and Kaori were captured by Tranza, and they were used as energy sources for Veronica. Meanwhile, Gai and Ryuu continued to fight Veronica in the city.
When the evil robot incidentally disconnected Great Icarus’ power, Gai hurried to fix the problem. Radiguet betrayed Tranza by triggering a function that weakened Veronica. The traitor was thrown into Veronica’s engine room along with the captive Jetman and human prisoners.
Ryuu sparred with Tranza, and Radiguet continued to sabotage his leader’s plan. Blue Swallow, White Swan and Yellow Owl and Red Hawk then blasted Tranza with their Beak Smashers.
Commander Odagiri told the Jetman to shoot Tetra Boy with the Bird Maser. In doing so, Veronica was finally destroyed. Tranza, Maria and Grey barely escaped the destruction, and Radiguet went into hiding.

So… I just finished watching the Power Rangers S.P.D. and the Dekaranger seasons and……they could be two of the best in each franchise. S.P.D. is the best season (IMO) after Space and Deka definitely became one of my favorite Sentai’s. If you haven’t seen S.P.D. or Deka go find ‘em and watch ‘em, you will not be disappointed. .
